Terms of service
Last Updated: 4 September 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the GetFettle website and your purchase of products from GetFettle.
By accessing, browsing or using this website, or placing an order through the website, you acknowledge that you have read, understood and agreed to these Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, Shipping Policy, and Return & Refund Policy.
If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use this website or place an order.
1. ABOUT GETFETTLE
GetFettle is an online health and wellness retailer operating in South Africa.
For purposes of South African law, the following business information applies:
Email: getfettle.co.za@gmail.com
Website: getfettle.co.za
Where required by applicable law, GetFettle will provide additional business and contact information to customers.
Under ECTA, an online supplier is required to make specified information available to consumers, including its legal identity, physical address, contact details, applicable terms, delivery information and return/refund policy.
Important: Do not publish the version above until you replace the bracketed information with your actual registered business details.
2. ACCEPTANCE OF THESE TERMS
By using the GetFettle website, you confirm that:
- you are legally capable of entering into a binding agreement;
- the information you provide to GetFettle is accurate and complete;
- you will use the website lawfully;
- you will not misuse or interfere with the website;
- you accept these Terms; and
- where you place an order, you agree to be bound by the terms applicable to that transaction.
If you are under the age of 18, you may only use this website with the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian where required by law.
3. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS
GetFettle reserves the right to update or amend these Terms from time to time.
The latest version will be published on this page and will include the date on which it was last updated.
Changes will generally apply prospectively and will not retrospectively remove rights that a consumer has already acquired under applicable law.
Your continued use of the website after an updated version has been published constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms to the extent permitted by law.
4. PRODUCTS AND PRODUCT INFORMATION
GetFettle makes reasonable efforts to ensure that product descriptions, photographs, specifications, prices and other information displayed on the website are accurate and up to date.
However:
- product colours may appear slightly different depending on your device or screen;
- product packaging may change from time to time;
- manufacturers may make changes to product specifications;
- dimensions and measurements may have reasonable manufacturing tolerances; and
- photographs may be illustrative where expressly stated.
Nothing in these Terms excludes any rights you may have where goods do not comply with the requirements of the Consumer Protection Act.
South African consumer law provides consumers with rights relating to safe, good-quality goods and an implied warranty of quality in applicable circumstances.
5. HEALTH & WELLNESS DISCLAIMER
GetFettle sells health and wellness products intended to support general wellbeing.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, our products are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any medical disease or medical condition.
Information provided on our website, product pages, advertisements, emails or social media is provided for general informational purposes and should not be regarded as medical advice.
Customers should read all product instructions, warnings and safety information before using a product.
Where appropriate, customers should consult a qualified healthcare professional before using a product, particularly where the customer:
- is pregnant;
- has an existing medical condition;
- has an implanted medical device;
- has reduced sensation;
- has a serious injury;
- has recently undergone surgery;
- is taking medication; or
- is uncertain whether the product is appropriate for them.
Customers are responsible for using products in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions and applicable warnings.
Nothing in this section is intended to exclude or limit any liability or consumer right that cannot legally be excluded or limited.
6. PRODUCT SAFETY AND PROPER USE
Customers are responsible for reading and following all instructions supplied with a product before use.
Products must only be used for their intended purpose.
Customers must not modify, dismantle, misuse or use a product contrary to its instructions or safety warnings.
Where a product requires charging, electrical power or batteries, customers should follow the applicable charging and operating instructions.
GetFettle may provide safety information, warnings or instructions on the product page, packaging, manuals or other communications.
Customers should immediately stop using a product if it appears damaged, defective, overheated or unsafe.
Nothing in these Terms limits GetFettle's obligations regarding defective or unsafe goods under applicable South African law.
7. PRODUCT AVAILABILITY
All products are subject to availability.
GetFettle reserves the right to:
- limit quantities available for purchase;
- discontinue products;
- correct genuine errors in product information;
- refuse or cancel an order where permitted by law; and
- update product availability without prior notice.
If GetFettle is unable to fulfil an accepted order because the product has become unavailable, GetFettle will notify the customer and provide any remedy or refund required by applicable law.
8. PRICES
All prices displayed on the website are in South African Rand (ZAR) unless otherwise stated.
Prices may change from time to time.
The price applicable to an order will generally be the price displayed at the time the order is placed, subject to genuine pricing errors and applicable law.
Where an obvious pricing error occurs, GetFettle reserves the right to contact the customer before fulfilling the order.
If the order cannot reasonably be fulfilled at the incorrect price, GetFettle may cancel the affected order and refund any amount already paid, subject to the customer's rights under applicable law.
Any delivery charges, where applicable, will be displayed during the checkout process or otherwise communicated to the customer.
9. ORDERS
Placing an order constitutes an offer by the customer to purchase the selected products.
An automated order confirmation confirms receipt of the order but does not necessarily constitute acceptance of the order where applicable law permits further confirmation.
GetFettle may decline or cancel an order where reasonably necessary, including circumstances involving:
- product unavailability;
- an obvious pricing or listing error;
- suspected fraudulent activity;
- payment failure;
- materially incorrect customer information;
- duplicate or suspicious orders; or
- circumstances beyond GetFettle's reasonable control.
Where payment has already been received for an order that GetFettle cannot fulfil, the applicable amount will be refunded in accordance with applicable law.
10. PAYMENT
Payments are processed through the payment methods made available at checkout.
GetFettle does not intentionally store full payment-card details where payment processing is handled by a third-party payment service provider.
Customers must provide accurate billing and payment information.
GetFettle reserves the right to delay or cancel an order where payment has not been successfully authorised or where a transaction appears fraudulent or unauthorised.
11. DELIVERY
GetFettle will deliver products to the delivery address supplied by the customer during checkout.
Customers are responsible for ensuring that their delivery information is accurate and complete.
GetFettle is not responsible for delays caused by incorrect or incomplete information supplied by the customer.
Delivery times displayed on the website are estimates unless expressly stated otherwise.
Delivery may be affected by:
- courier delays;
- public holidays;
- weather;
- strikes;
- incorrect addresses;
- unsuccessful delivery attempts;
- remote delivery locations;
- customs or regulatory issues where applicable; and
- other circumstances outside GetFettle's reasonable control.
GetFettle will take reasonable steps to assist customers where a delivery is delayed or unsuccessful.
Nothing in this section removes any rights a consumer has under applicable South African law.
The CPA provides that, subject to its provisions, goods remain at the supplier's risk until the consumer accepts delivery.
12. DELIVERY INSPECTION
Customers should inspect their order as soon as reasonably possible after delivery.
If a package appears visibly damaged, customers should, where reasonably possible:
- photograph the package before opening it;
- photograph the contents;
- retain the packaging; and
- contact GetFettle as soon as possible.
This helps GetFettle investigate courier or product issues.
Failure to immediately report damage does not, by itself, remove any statutory consumer rights.
13. RETURNS, REFUNDS AND EXCHANGES
Returns, refunds and exchanges are governed by GetFettle's Return & Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
Customers should review the Return & Refund Policy before purchasing.
Nothing in the Return & Refund Policy or these Terms is intended to exclude rights granted to consumers under the Consumer Protection Act, ECTA or any other applicable law.
Where a product is defective, unsafe or otherwise does not comply with applicable statutory requirements, GetFettle will provide the remedy required by law.
14. COOLING-OFF RIGHTS FOR ONLINE PURCHASES
Certain electronic transactions may be subject to a statutory cooling-off right under ECTA.
Where applicable, a consumer may have the right to cancel an electronic transaction within 7 days after the date on which the agreement was concluded or the goods were delivered, whichever is later, subject to the statutory exceptions and requirements.
ECTA also provides specific exceptions to the cooling-off right, including certain goods that cannot reasonably be returned because of their nature and certain goods that may deteriorate or expire rapidly.
GetFettle will process qualifying cancellations in accordance with applicable law and its Return & Refund Policy.
15. DEFECTIVE PRODUCTS
If a customer believes that a product is defective or does not meet the requirements of applicable law, the customer should contact GetFettle as soon as reasonably possible.
The customer may be required to provide:
- order details;
- photographs or videos;
- a description of the issue;
- evidence of damage where relevant; and
- reasonable information required to investigate the complaint.
GetFettle may inspect or arrange inspection of the product where reasonably necessary.
Nothing in this section limits the consumer's statutory rights.
The CPA provides protections relating to the quality and safety of goods, including an implied warranty of quality in applicable circumstances.
16. HYGIENE-SENSITIVE PRODUCTS
Certain GetFettle products may be personal-use or hygiene-sensitive products.
Where permitted by applicable law, GetFettle may refuse a discretionary return of a product that has been used, opened or handled in a manner that makes it unsuitable for resale for health or hygiene reasons.
However, this provision does not apply to defeat a consumer's statutory rights relating to defective, unsafe or non-conforming goods, nor does it override any applicable statutory cooling-off right.
17. USER ACCOUNTS
Where the website permits customers to create an account, customers are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their login information.
Customers must notify GetFettle if they believe their account has been accessed without authorisation.
GetFettle reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts where reasonably necessary to prevent fraud, abuse, unlawful activity or misuse of the website.
18. WEBSITE USE

GetFettle reserves the right to take reasonable steps against misuse of the website.
19. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
Unless otherwise stated, all content appearing on the GetFettle website is owned by or licensed to GetFettle.
This includes, where applicable:
- logos;
- trademarks;
- branding;
- photographs;
- graphics;
- product descriptions;
- written content;
- website design;
- videos;
- marketing materials; and
- other original content.
You may not reproduce, copy, modify, distribute, sell or commercially exploit GetFettle content without prior written permission.
Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of GetFettle's intellectual property to a customer.
20. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
GetFettle may use third-party service providers, including payment processors, couriers, hosting providers, advertising platforms and technology providers.
GetFettle is not responsible for independent acts or omissions of third parties to the extent permitted by law.
However, this does not limit any legal rights the customer may have against GetFettle where GetFettle remains legally responsible for the relevant transaction or service.
21. LINKS TO THIRD-PARTY WEBSITES
The GetFettle website may contain links to third-party websites.
Such links may be provided for convenience.
GetFettle does not necessarily control or endorse third-party websites and is not responsible for their content, privacy practices or terms.
Customers should review the applicable third-party terms before using external websites.
22. REVIEWS AND USER CONTENT
Where GetFettle allows customers to submit reviews, photographs, comments or other content, customers must ensure that the content:
- is truthful;
- is based on their genuine experience;
- does not contain unlawful material;
- does not infringe another person's rights;
- does not contain malicious software;
- does not contain defamatory or abusive material; and
- does not contain another person's personal information without appropriate permission.
GetFettle reserves the right to remove content that violates these requirements or applicable law.
Customers retain ownership of content they create, subject to any licence expressly granted to GetFettle for displaying or using that content.
23. MARKETING COMMUNICATIONS
By providing contact details to GetFettle, customers may receive transactional communications relating to their orders.
Marketing communications will be handled in accordance with applicable law and GetFettle's Privacy Policy.
Customers may unsubscribe from marketing communications where applicable.
GetFettle will not use this section to override any statutory consent or direct-marketing requirements.
24. PRIVACY AND PERSONAL INFORMATION
GetFettle takes the protection of customer information seriously.
Personal information collected through the website will be handled in accordance with GetFettle's Privacy Policy and applicable South African data-protection legislation, including the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA), where applicable.
The Privacy Policy explains:
- what information GetFettle collects;
- why information is collected;
- how information is used;
- how information is stored;
- when information may be shared;
- customer rights; and
- how customers can contact GetFettle regarding personal information.
25. DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, GetFettle does not guarantee that:
- the website will always be available;
- the website will be completely error-free;
- the website will be uninterrupted;
- all website content will always be completely accurate;
- the website will be free from viruses or other harmful components; or
- every product will produce a particular result for every customer.
However, nothing in these Terms excludes or limits a warranty, guarantee, representation or consumer right that cannot legally be excluded or limited.
26. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the maximum extent permitted by South African law, GetFettle will not be liable for losses arising from:
- misuse of a product;
- failure to follow product instructions;
- failure to follow safety warnings;
- unauthorised modification of a product;
- use of a product for a purpose for which it was not intended;
- inaccurate information supplied by the customer;
- delays caused by circumstances outside GetFettle's reasonable control; or
- unauthorised access to a customer's account caused by the customer's failure to protect their login information.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where such exclusion or limitation is prohibited by law.
In particular, these Terms do not purport to exclude liability for matters that South African law does not permit a supplier to exclude.
The CPA places restrictions on unfair terms and on attempts to waive or avoid statutory consumer obligations.
27. EVENTS OUTSIDE OUR CONTROL
GetFettle will not be responsible for delays or failure to perform caused by circumstances reasonably outside its control, including:
- natural disasters;
- severe weather;
- fire;
- flood;
- strikes;
- civil unrest;
- government restrictions;
- power failures;
- telecommunications failures;
- courier disruptions;
- supplier failures;
- cyber incidents affecting third-party providers; or
- other circumstances beyond GetFettle's reasonable control.
GetFettle will take reasonable steps to minimise the impact of such circumstances.
28. FRAUDULENT TRANSACTIONS AND ABUSE
GetFettle reserves the right to investigate transactions that appear fraudulent, abusive or unlawful.
Where reasonably necessary and permitted by law, GetFettle may:
- cancel suspicious orders;
- restrict accounts;
- request additional verification;
- withhold fulfilment pending verification; and
- report suspected unlawful activity to the appropriate authorities.
Nothing in this section permits GetFettle to unlawfully withhold money or avoid its statutory obligations.
29. COMPLAINTS
Customers are encouraged to contact GetFettle first regarding any complaint.
Complaints should be submitted using:

- the outcome you are seeking.
GetFettle will make reasonable efforts to investigate and resolve complaints.
30. DISPUTE RESOLUTION
GetFettle encourages customers to first attempt to resolve disputes directly with GetFettle.
Nothing in these Terms prevents a consumer from exercising any right or pursuing any remedy available under South African law.
Where appropriate, a dispute may be referred to a competent consumer-protection body, ombud, tribunal or court having jurisdiction.
Nothing in these Terms requires a consumer to waive a statutory right to approach a competent authority.
31. GOVERNING LAW
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
Subject to any mandatory consumer rights and jurisdictional rules applicable to the transaction, disputes concerning these Terms will be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts of South Africa.
32. SEVERABILITY
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unlawful, invalid or unenforceable, that provision will be interpreted or modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it lawful and enforceable where legally possible.
If this is not possible, the affected provision will be severed.
The remaining provisions will continue to apply.
33. NO WAIVER
A failure by GetFettle to enforce any provision of these Terms does not constitute a waiver of that provision or any other right.
34. ENTIRE AGREEMENT
These Terms, together with the applicable:
- product information;
- checkout information;
- Return & Refund Policy;
- Shipping Policy; and
- Privacy Policy,
form the applicable contractual framework between GetFettle and the customer, subject to mandatory provisions of South African law.
Where there is a conflict between these Terms and a mandatory provision of applicable law, the mandatory legal provision will prevail.
